Wealth, Sacrifice, and Disciplined Giving
महादेव: सर्वयज्ञे महात्मा हुत्वा$5त्मानं देवदेवो बभूव । विश्वॉल्लोकान् व्याप्य विष्ट भ्य कीर्त्या विराजते द्युतिमान् कृत्तिवासा:
mahādevaḥ sarvayajñe mahātmā hutvā ātmānaṃ devadevo babhūva | viśvāl lokān vyāpya viṣṭabhya kīrtyā virājate dyutimān kṛttivāsāḥ |
महात्मा महादेव ने सर्वस्व-समर्पणरूप यज्ञ में अपने-आपको होम करके देवों के भी देवता पद प्राप्त किया। वे अपनी कीर्ति से समस्त लोकों को व्याप्त कर तेजस्वी कृत्तिवासा रूप में प्रकाशित हो रहे हैं।

The verse elevates complete self-offering (ātma-samarpaṇa) as the highest form of sacrifice: by giving oneself wholly for the good of the whole, one attains supreme spiritual stature. Śiva’s radiance and world-pervading fame symbolize the ethical power of renunciation and self-transcendence.
