त्रिवर्गविचारः
Tri-varga Deliberation: Dharma, Artha, Kāma
निष्क्रम्य वनमास्थाय ज्ञानयुक्तो जितेन्द्रिय: । कालाकांक्षी चरत्येवं ब्रह्मभूयाय कल्पते
niṣkramya vanam āsthāya jñānayukto jitendriyaḥ | kālākāṅkṣī caratyevaṃ brahmabhūyāya kalpate ||
भीष्म ने कहा—जो पुरुष गृहस्थाश्रम से निकलकर वन का आश्रय ले, ज्ञानयुक्त और जितेन्द्रिय होकर, मृत्यु के नियत समय की शान्त प्रतीक्षा करता हुआ निर्विकार विचरता है; वह इस प्रकार ब्रह्मभाव (परम सिद्धि) को प्राप्त होने योग्य हो जाता है।
