स त्वं संतानवानद्य पुत्रवानसि च द्विज
Transliteration
sa tvaṃ saṃtānavān adya putravān asi ca dvija
Translation
भीष्म ने कहा—हे द्विज, आज तुम संतान-सम्पन्न हो और पुत्रवान भी हो। यही गृहस्थ-धर्म की सिद्धि है और वंश की स्थिरता; जो धर्म और लोक-व्यवस्था का आधार है।
