शूरलक्षणवर्णनम् | Marks and Typologies of Martial Temperament
दीप्तस्फुटितकेशान्ता: स्थूलपार्श्चहनूमुखा: । उन्नतांसा: पृथुग्रीवा विकटा: स्थूलपिण्डिका:
dīptasphuṭitakeśāntāḥ sthūlapārśvahanūmukhāḥ | unnātāṃsāḥ pṛthugrīvā vikaṭāḥ sthūlapiṇḍikāḥ ||
भीष्म बोले— कुछ पुरुष विकट देहवाले होते हैं: उनके केशों के अग्रभाग दीप्त और बिखरे हुए होते हैं; उनकी पसलियाँ, ठोड़ी और मुख स्थूल तथा रूखे होते हैं; उनके कंधे उन्नत, गर्दन मोटी और पिण्डलियाँ भारी होती हैं। ऐसे लोग देखने में ही भयानक और आतंकजनक प्रतीत होते हैं।
