विनिर्भिन्ना: शितैर्बाणैर्गदातोमरशक्तिभि: । अश्वत्थामा कृपश्चैव कृतवर्मा च सात्वत:
vinirbhinnāḥ śitair bāṇair gadātomaraśaktibhiḥ | aśvatthāmā kṛpaś caiva kṛtavarmā ca sātvatāḥ ||
वे तीखे बाणों से बेध दिए गए थे और गदा, तोमर तथा शक्तियों के प्रहार से आहत थे—अश्वत्थामा, कृप और सात्वतवंशी कृतवर्मा।
