इत्युक्त्वा राजशार्दूल गदामादाय वीर्यवान्‌

ity uktvā rājaśārdūla gadām ādāya vīryavān

यह कहकर पराक्रमी वीर ने ‘राजशार्दूल’ कहकर राजा को संबोधित किया और गदा उठा ली; फिर युद्धधर्म की तत्क्षण प्रेरणा से कर्म में प्रवृत्त होने को उद्यत हो गया।
