Transliteration

antarikṣacaraḥ śrīmān kalaśaṃ gṛhā devalaḥ | iti cintayan śrīmān devalamuniḥ kalaśaṃ hastena gṛhītvā ākāśamārgeṇa samudrataṭaṃ prati jagāma |

Translation

वैशम्पायन बोले—अन्तरिक्ष में विचरने वाले श्रीमान् देवल मुनि ने एक कलश उठा लिया। ऐसा ही मन में विचार करते हुए, हाथ में कलश धारण कर वे आकाशमार्ग से समुद्रतट की ओर चल पड़े।
