तत्परा शुचिसंवीता पावके समधिश्रयत् । अपचदू राजशार्दूल बदराणि महाव्रता
tatparā śucisaṃvītā pāvake samadhiśrayat | apacadū rājaśārdūla badarāṇi mahāvratā ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—राजशार्दूल! वह महाव्रता कुमारी शौच-सम्पन्न होकर, अपने कार्य में तत्पर, मौनभाव से उन फलों को अग्नि पर चढ़ा गई। नृपश्रेष्ठ! तत्पश्चात वह बड़े यत्न से बेर के फलों को पकाने लगी।
