सभेरीशड्खमुरजा सायुधा सपताकिनी । शारदी द्यौरिवाभाति ज्योतिर्भिरिव शोभिता
sabherīśaṅkhamurajā sāyudhā sapatākinī | śāradī dyaurivābhāti jyotirbhiriva śobhitā ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—भेरी, शंख और मृदंगों के निनाद से गूँजती, आयुधों से सुसज्जित और ध्वज-पताकाओं से युक्त वह सेना ज्योतियों से शोभित शरद्-आकाश के समान प्रकाशित हो उठी।
