Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage

tad dṛṣṭvā vrīḍito rājan sa muniḥ pādayor gataḥ | mene devaṃ mahādevam idaṃ covāca vismitaḥ ||

Seeing that, the sage—ashamed, O King—fell at the feet (of the Lord). Recognizing him as the divine Mahādeva, he spoke these words in astonishment. The scene underscores the ethical force of humility: when one realizes the presence of the highest divinity, pride gives way to reverence and self-correction.
