सरस्वतीतीर्थानुक्रमः — बलरामस्य तीर्थयात्रा
Sarasvatī Tīrtha Itinerary — Balarāma’s Pilgrimage
यज्ञार्थ चक्रतुश्निन्तां तथा वित्तार्थमेव च । तयोबुद्धि: समभवत् त्रितं गृह्य परंतप
yajñārthaṃ cakratuś cintāṃ tathā vittārtham eva ca | tayoḥ buddhiḥ samabhavat tritaṃ gṛhya parantapa rājan ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—यज्ञ-फल की कामना से और धन-लाभ के हेतु भी, वे दोनों भाई विचार करने लगे। तब उनके भीतर यह निश्चय हुआ—“परंतप राजन्, त्रित को साथ लेकर हम यजमानों के यज्ञ कराएँ; दक्षिणा में बहुत-से पशु पाकर महाफलदायक यज्ञ का अनुष्ठान करें; और वहीं हर्षित मन से सोमरस पिएँ।”
