Transliteration

mādrīputrau tathā śūrau draupadyāḥ pañca cātmajāḥ

Translation

और माद्री के दोनों शूरवीर पुत्र तथा द्रौपदी के पाँचों पुत्र—पाण्डव कुल के प्रमुख उत्तराधिकारी—कर्तव्य और स्वजन-बंधन से बँधे हुए, युद्ध की निष्ठुर गणना में एकत्र गिने गये।
