सहदेवो महाराज भ्नुश्चिच्छेद संयुगे महाराज! इसके बाद सहदेवके पास जाकर उसने तीन बाणोंद्वारा उनपर प्रहार किया। उसके छोड़े हुए उन बाणोंका अपने शरसमूहोंसे निवारण करके प्रतापी सहदेवने युद्धस्थलमें उसका धनुष काट डाला
saḥadevo mahārāja dhanuś ciccheda saṃyuge | mahārāja! tataḥ saḥadevasya samīpaṃ gatvā sa tribhir bāṇair enam abhyahanat | tasya muktān bāṇān svaśarasamūhair nivārya pratāpī saḥadevo raṇāṅgaṇe tasya dhanuś ciccheda |
संजय बोले—महाराज, युद्ध के बीच सहदेव ने शत्रु का धनुष काट डाला। तब वह योद्धा सहदेव के पास आकर तीन बाणों से उन पर प्रहार करने लगा। प्रतापी सहदेव ने अपने शरों की वर्षा से उन बाणों को रोक दिया और रणभूमि में दृढ़ खड़े रहकर फिर से उसका धनुष काट दिया।
