स्वर्गसंसक्तमनसो योधा युयुधिरे तदा । सभी योद्धा स्वामीके दिये हुए अन्नके ऋणसे उऋण होनेके लिये उनके कार्यको सिद्ध करनेका दृढ़ निश्चय किये मनमें स्वर्गकी अभिलाषा रखकर उस समय उत्साहपूर्वक युद्ध कर रहे थे

संजय बोले—तब स्वर्ग में मन लगाए हुए योद्धा युद्ध करते रहे। वे सब अपने स्वामी द्वारा दिए गए अन्न के ऋण से उऋण होने और उसके कार्य को सिद्ध करने का दृढ़ निश्चय करके, हृदय में स्वर्ग की अभिलाषा लिए, उत्साहपूर्वक रण में जुटे थे।
