त्रासनीं सर्वभूतानां स्वसैन्यपरिहर्षिणीम् । मनुष्यलोके विख्यातां गिरिशृज्भविदारणीम्
trāsanīṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ svasainyapariharṣiṇīm | manuṣyaloke vikhyātāṁ giriśṛṅgabhidāraṇīm ||
संजय बोले—वह गदा समस्त प्राणियों के लिए त्रासस्वरूप और अपनी सेना के लिए हर्षवर्धक थी। मनुष्यलोक में वह सर्वत्र विख्यात थी और पर्वत-शिखरों को विदीर्ण करने में समर्थ कही जाती थी।
