हीनप्राणजडान्धेषु सुप्तभीतोत्थितेषु च । मत्तोन्मत्तप्रमत्तेषु न शस्त्राणि च पातयेत्
hīnaprāṇajaḍāndheṣu suptabhītotthiteṣu ca | mattonmattapramatteṣu na śastrāṇi ca pātayet ||
दुर्बल प्राण वाले, जड़बुद्धि और अन्धों पर, तथा सोए हुए, डरे हुए और अभी उठे हुए लोगों पर; और मतवाले, उन्मत्त तथा असावधान पुरुषों पर भी शस्त्र नहीं चलाना चाहिए।
