Kṛpa’s Counsel on Destiny and Human Effort
तत्रास्य बुद्धिर्विनयस्तत्र श्रेयश्व॒ पश्यति । जब मनुष्य मोहके वशीभूत हो हिताहितका निर्णय करनेमें असमर्थ हो जाय
tatrāsya buddhir vinayas tatra śreyaś ca paśyati |
वहीं—अपने सुहृद् हितैषियों की सलाह में—मनुष्य को बुद्धि और विनय प्राप्त होते हैं, और वहीं उसे अपने श्रेय का दर्शन होता है। जब मनुष्य मोह से अभिभूत होकर हित-अहित का निर्णय करने में असमर्थ हो जाए, तब उसे अपने मित्रों से परामर्श लेना चाहिए; उन्हीं के द्वारा वह विवेक पाता है और अपने कल्याण का मार्ग देखता है।
