राहुरग्रसदादित्यमपर्वणि विशाम्पते । उल्का चाप्यपसव्येन पुरं कृत्वा व्यशीर्यत
rāhur agrasad ādityam aparvaṇi viśāmpate | ulkā cāpy apasavyena puraṃ kṛtvā vyaśīryata ||
हे प्रजापते! अपर्वकाल में राहु ने सूर्य को ग्रस लिया; और अपसव्य (वामगति) से चलती हुई उल्का नगर की परिक्रमा करके टूटकर गिर पड़ी।
