Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory
इदं तु त्वां कुरुगाजो 5 भ्युवाच पूर्व पृष्टवा कुशलं चाव्ययं च । इयं सभा त्वत्सभातुल्यरूपा भ्रातृणां ते दृश्यतामेत्य पुत्र
idaṃ tu tvāṃ kururājo 'bhyuvāca pūrvaṃ pṛṣṭvā kuśalaṃ cāvyayaṃ ca | iyaṃ sabhā tvat-sabhā-tulya-rūpā bhrātṝṇāṃ te dṛśyatām etya putra ||
परन्तु पहले कुरुराज धृतराष्ट्र ने तुम्हारा कुशल और अव्यय (अक्षय) आरोग्य पूछकर यह संदेश दिया है—‘वत्स! तुम्हारी सभा के समान रूपवाली यह सभा तैयार कराई गई है; तुम अपने भाइयों के साथ आकर इसे देखो।’
