Vidura’s Censure of Dicing and Warning to the Kurus
दृष्ट होतद् विदुरेणैव सर्व विपक्षिता बुद्धिविद्यानुगेन । तदेवैतदवशस्याभ्युपैति महदू भयं क्षत्रियजीवधाति
Dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca — dṛṣṭaṃ hy etad vidureṇaiva sarvaṃ vipakṣitaṃ buddhividyānugena | tad evaitad avaśasyābhyupaiti mahad bhayaṃ kṣatriyajīvaghāti ||
धृतराष्ट्र ने कहा—बुद्धि और विद्या के अनुयायी विद्वान विदुर ने इन सब परिणामों को पहले ही देख-परख लिया था। वही महान भय—जो क्षत्रियों के प्राणों का विनाश करने वाला है—अब विवश मेरे सामने बढ़ता चला आ रहा है।
