अक्षदेवन-प्रवर्तनम् | Commencement of the Dice Game

अभ्यषिज्चत्‌ ततो धौम्यो व्यासश्न सुमहातपा: । नारदं च पुरस्कृत्य देवलं चासितं मुनिम्‌,तदनन्तर धौम्य तथा महातपस्वी व्यासने देवर्षि नारद, देवल और असित मुनिको आगे करके युधिष्ठिरका अभिषेक किया

abhyasiñcat tato dhaumyo vyāsaś ca sumahātapāḥ | nāradaṃ ca puraskṛtya devalaṃ cāsitaṃ munim ||

तदनन्तर धौम्य और महातपस्वी व्यास ने देवर्षि नारद को अग्रभाग में रखकर, देवल तथा असित मुनि के साथ, युधिष्ठिर का अभिषेक किया।
