Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Duryodhana Saṃvāda on Restraint and Rājānīti
Chapter 50
उद्धवो वा महाबुद्धिर्वष्णीनामर्चितो नूप । तदल पुत्र द्यूतेन द्यूते भेदो हि दृश्यते
vaishampāyana uvāca |
uddhavo vā mahābuddhir vṛṣṇīnām arcito nṛpa |
tad alpa-putra dyūtena dyūte bhedo hi dṛśyate ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—राजन्! वृष्णिवंश में पूजित उद्धव भी परम बुद्धिमान् माने जाते हैं। इसलिए, पुत्र! जुए से कोई विशेष लाभ नहीं; क्योंकि जुए में फूट और वैर का उदय प्रत्यक्ष दिखाई देता है।
