ye cānye ca mahīpālā rājasūyaṃ mahākratum | yajante te sahendreṇa modante bharatarṣabha ||
The verse links righteous royal ritual (the Rājasūya) with the accrual of merit: kings who perform the great consecration sacrifice according to dharma attain joy in the heavenly sphere, symbolized by companionship with Indra.
Nārada is describing the fruit of the Rājasūya: not only a particular king, but other rulers as well who undertake this major rite are said to enjoy heavenly happiness with Indra, reinforcing the prestige and spiritual consequence of the sacrifice.
