नारद उवाच
The verse does not state a direct moral injunction; it uses vivid imagery to portray extraordinary royal/celestial grandeur. In the broader epic context, such splendor often functions as a backdrop for testing restraint, humility, and dharmic conduct amid power and wealth.
Nārada is describing the appearance of a divine assembly-hall, focusing on its walls, which shine with golden brilliance like lightning—an aesthetic detail that heightens the sense of marvel and prestige surrounding the courtly setting.
