hatvā tān puruṣavyāpraḥ pāñcālānāṃ mahārathaḥ
संजय बोले— उन्हें मारकर पाञ्चालों का वह महारथी, पुरुष-व्याघ्र, युद्ध में निरंतर कर्म करता रहा; यहाँ पराक्रम के साथ-साथ प्राणहरण के गंभीर नैतिक भार का भी संकेत है।
संजय उवाच
