न युक्तान् हि स तान् मेने यमायाशु किरीटिना । उस समय भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने यह सोचकर कि अर्जुन-द्वारा इन सबको यमलोकमें भेज देना उचित नहीं है, रथके द्वारा उन्हें शीघ्र ही अपने दाहिने भागमें कर दिया
na yuktān hi sa tān mene yamāyāśu kirīṭinā |
संजय बोले—भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण ने यह उचित न समझा कि वे लोग किरीटधारी अर्जुन द्वारा शीघ्र ही यमलोक भेज दिए जाएँ। इसलिए उन्होंने इसे अनुचित मानकर रथ को तुरंत मोड़ा और उन्हें अपने दाहिने भाग में कर दिया, जिससे वे तत्काल वध से बच गए।
