तेषामापततां तत्र शरवर्षाणि मुज्चताम् । अर्जुनो व्यधमत् सैन्यं महावातो घनानिव
teṣām āpatatāṃ tatra śaravarṣāṇi muñcatām | arjuno vyadhamat sainyaṃ mahāvāto ghanān iva ||
संजय बोले—वे जब वहाँ धावा बोलते हुए बाणों की वर्षा करने लगे, तब अर्जुन ने उनकी सेना को वैसे ही छिन्न-भिन्न कर दिया जैसे प्रचण्ड वायु मेघसमूहों को तितर-बितर कर देती है।
