ततस्तु गत्वा पुरुषप्रवीरी राजानमासाद्य शयानमेकम् । रथादुभौ प्रत्यवरुह्मु तस्माद् ववन्दतुर्धर्मराजस्य पादौ,राजेन्द्र! शत्रुओंका सामना करनेके लिये शत्रुदमन वृकोदर भीमसेनको स्थापित करके और युद्धके विषयमें उन्हें पूर्वोक्त संदेश देकर वे दोनों पुरुषशिरोमणि अकेले सोये हुए राजा युधिष्ठिके पास जा रथसे नीचे उतरे और उन्होंने धर्मराजके चरणोंमें प्रणाम किया
tatastu gatvā puruṣapravīrī rājānam āsādya śayānam ekam | rathād ubhau pratyavaruhmu tasmād vavandatur dharmarājasya pādau ||
तदनन्तर वे दोनों पुरुषप्रवीर आगे बढ़े और अकेले शयन करते हुए राजा के पास पहुँचे। रथ से उतरकर दोनों ने धर्मराज (युधिष्ठिर) के चरणों में प्रणाम किया।
