कर्णस्य एकाकि-प्रहारः तथा पाण्डव-महारथ-परिवेष्टनम् | Karṇa’s concentrated assault and the Pāṇḍava encirclement
ततः प्रवृत्ते युधि सम्प्रहारे भूतानि सर्वाणि सदैवतानि । आसन् समेतानि सहाप्सरोभि- दिदृक्षमाणानि नरप्रवीरान्
tataḥ pravṛtte yudhi samprahāre bhūtāni sarvāṇi sadaivatāni | āsan sametāni sahāpsarobhir didṛkṣamāṇāni narapravīrān |
तदनन्तर जब युद्ध का भीषण संप्रहार आरम्भ हुआ, तब देवताओं सहित समस्त प्राणी अप्सराओं के साथ वहाँ एकत्र हो गए, उन नर-प्रवीरों को देखने की अभिलाषा से।
