ततो<पराभ्यां भल्लाभ्यां पुत्रयोस््ते महाहवे
tato 'parābhyāṁ bhallābhyāṁ putrayos te mahāhave
तब उस महान् संग्राम में उसने दो तीक्ष्ण भल्ल-बाणों से तुम्हारे दोनों पुत्रों को बेध दिया—युद्ध-धर्म की निष्ठुर मर्यादा के बीच पिता-स्नेह और राजधर्म का करुण विघटन और भी तीव्र हो उठा।
