कर्णेन सैन्यस्थापनं तथा नानायुद्धसमवायः

Karna Reforms the Host and Multiple Duels Converge

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत कर्णपर्वमें कर्ण और शल्यका संवादविषयक चौवालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,परवाच्येषु निपुण: सर्वो भवति सर्वदा । आत्मवाच्यं न जानीते जानन्नपि च मुह्ति दूसरोंके दोष बतानेमें सभी लोग सदा ही निपुण होते हैं; परंतु अपने दोषोंका उन्हें पता नहीं रहता, अथवा जानकर भी अनजान बने रहते हैं

evaṃ prakāreṇa śrīmahābhārate karṇaparvaṇi karṇa-śalya-saṃvāda-viṣayakaś catuścatvāriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ | paravācy eṣu nipuṇaḥ sarvo bhavati sarvadā | ātmavācyaṃ na jānīte jānann api ca muhyati ||

इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत के कर्णपर्व में कर्ण और शल्य के संवाद-विषयक चौवालीसवाँ अध्याय समाप्त हुआ। सब लोग सदा दूसरों के दोष बताने में निपुण होते हैं; पर अपने दोषों को नहीं पहचानते—या जानकर भी मोहवश अनजान बने रहते हैं।
