किमर्थ च भवान् सैन्यं न हनिष्यति मारिष । “मान्यवर! वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण क्यों कौरव-सेनाका निवारण करेंगे और क्यों आप पाण्डव-सेनाका वध नहीं करेंगे?

संजय ने कहा—मान्यवर! आप सेना का संहार क्यों नहीं करेंगे? वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण कौरव-सेना को क्यों रोकेंगे, और आप पाण्डव-सेना का वध क्यों नहीं करेंगे?
