कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
द्यां युगं युगचर्माणि संवर्तकबलाहकान् । कालपृष्ठोडथ नहुष: कर्कोटकधनंजयौ
dyāṃ yugaṃ yugacarmāṇi saṃvartakabalāhakān | kālapṛṣṭho ’tha nahuṣaḥ karkoṭakadhanaṃjayau ||
आकाश को जूआ बनाया, युगों के चर्म को युगचर्म (जूए की पट्टियाँ) किया और प्रलयकाल के मेघों को बन्धन-उपकरण। कालपृष्ठ, नहुष, कर्कोटक, धनंजय तथा अन्य नाग घोड़ों के केसर बाँधने की रस्सियाँ बने, और दिशाएँ तथा विदिशाएँ रथ के अश्वों की बागडोर बन गईं।
