सर्वेषां चैव सैन्यानां कर्णमेवागमन्मन: । सूतपुत्रं महेष्वासं बन्धुमात्ययिकेष्विव
sarveṣāṃ caiva sainyānāṃ karṇam evāgaman manaḥ | sūtaputraṃ maheṣvāsaṃ bandhum ātyayikeṣv iva ||
समस्त सेनाओं के मन केवल कर्ण की ओर ही गए—उस सूतपुत्र महाधनुर्धर की ओर—जैसे घोर संकट में मन अपने विश्वस्त बंधु की ओर चला जाता है।
