तथैव पाण्डवो युद्धे द्रौर्णि शरशतै: शितै: । नाकम्पयत संहृष्टो वार्योच इव पर्वतम्‌

Transliteration

tathaiva pāṇḍavo yuddhe drauṇiṁ śaraśataiḥ śitaiḥ | nākampayata saṁhṛṣṭo vāryogha iva parvatam ||

Translation

उसी प्रकार हर्ष-उत्साह से भरे पाण्डव भीमसेन ने युद्ध में सैकड़ों तीखे बाणों से प्रहार किया, पर द्रोणपुत्र अश्वत्थामा को विचलित न कर सका—जैसे जल का प्रचण्ड प्रवाह भी पर्वत को नहीं हिला सकता।
