धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection
स दीर्घबाहु: पृथ्वंसो दीर्घधजीवलोचन: । अभिमन्युर्यथावृत्त: श्रोतुमिच्छाम्यहं तथा,“मोटे कंधों, बड़ी भुजाओं तथा कमलसदृश विशाल नेत्रोंवाला अभिमन्यु संग्राममें जिस प्रकार लड़ा था, वह सब वृत्तान्त मैं सुनना चाहता हूँ
sa dīrghabāhuḥ pṛthvaṃso dīrghadhvajīvalocanaḥ | abhimanyur yathāvṛttaḥ śrotum icchāmy ahaṃ tathā ||
संजय बोले— मैं यह सुनना चाहता हूँ कि मोटे कंधों, दीर्घ भुजाओं और कमल-से विशाल नेत्रों वाले अभिमन्यु ने युद्ध में जैसा पराक्रम किया, वह सब वृत्तांत ठीक-ठीक कैसे हुआ।
