हिमावदातान् यः सिंहान् नखदंष्टायुधान् बली । निर्वीर्यास्तरसा कृत्वा विचकर्ष बबन्ध च
himāvadātān yaḥ siṁhān nakhadaṁṣṭrāyudhān balī | nirvīryās tarasā kṛtvā vicakarṣa babandha ca
नारदजी बोले—वह बलवान् पुरुष नखों और दाँतों को आयुध बनाने वाले हिम-श्वेत सिंहों को भी अपने वेग से निर्बल कर देता; उन्हें घसीट लाता और बाँध देता था।

Strength is ethically meaningful when it can subdue and restrain destructive power; mastery includes the capacity to bind and control rather than merely destroy.
Nārada describes a mighty figure overpowering fierce, snow-white lions—whose natural weapons are claws and fangs—rendering them helpless, dragging them, and binding them.
