Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 60: Arjuna’s return, auspicious omens, and mission delegation
सहसमप्रचाश्चैकैकं गजानां पृष्ठतोडन्वयु: । अश्वे अश्वे शतं गावो गवां पश्चादजाविकम्,एक-एक हाथीके पीछे हजार-हजार घोड़े जा रहे थे और एक-एक घोड़ेके साथ सौ-सौ गौएँ एवं गौओंके पीछे भेड़ और बकरियोंके झुंड चलते थे
sahasam apracāś caikaikaṃ gajānāṃ pṛṣṭhato 'nvayuḥ | aśve aśve śataṃ gāvo gavāṃ paścād ajāvikam ||
नारद बोले—“उस शोभायात्रा में प्रत्येक हाथी के पीछे हजार-हजार घोड़े चलते थे; और प्रत्येक घोड़े के साथ सौ-सौ गौएँ थीं, तथा गौओं के पीछे भेड़-बकरियों के झुंड चलते थे।”
