सैन्येन रजसा मूढं सर्वमन्धमिवा भवत् । उस अवस्थामें न आकाशका, न पृथ्वीका और न दिशाओंका ही पता लगता था। सेनाद्वारा उड़ायी हुई धूलसे आच्छादित होकर वहाँ सब कुछ अन्धकारमय हो गया था
sainyena rajasā mūḍhaṃ sarvam andham ivābhavat |
संजय बोले—सेना द्वारा उड़ाई हुई धूल से सब कुछ मोहित-सा होकर मानो अन्धा हो गया। उस अवस्था में न आकाश का, न पृथ्वी का और न दिशाओं का ही पता चलता था; सेनारज से आच्छादित होकर वहाँ सब कुछ अन्धकारमय हो गया था।
