परिवत्र॒ुर्महात्मानं परीप्सन्तो यदूत्तमम् । द्रोणाचार्यकी आते देख युधिष्ठिर आदि पाण्डववीर यदुकुलतिलक महामना सात्यकिकी रक्षाके लिये उन्हें सब ओरसे घेरकर खड़े हो गये
sañjaya uvāca | parivartur mahātmānaṃ parīpsanto yadūttamam | droṇācāryakṛte dṛṣṭvā yudhiṣṭhirādayaḥ pāṇḍavavīrāḥ yadukulatilakaṃ mahāmanāṃ sātyakiṃ rakṣituṃ sarvataḥ parigṛhya tasthuḥ ||
संजय बोले—द्रोणाचार्य को आते देख युधिष्ठिर आदि पाण्डववीर, यदुकुल-तिलक महामना सात्यकि की रक्षा के लिये उसे सब ओर से घेरकर खड़े हो गये।
सयजय उवाच
Even amid violent conflict, dharma expresses itself through steadfast loyalty and the duty to protect a righteous companion. The Pāṇḍavas’ act of encircling Sātyaki models ethical guardianship: strength is used not merely to strike, but to shield those who stand for the same cause.
As Droṇācārya’s offensive threatens Sātyaki, Yudhiṣṭhira and the other Pāṇḍava warriors quickly form a protective formation around him, standing on all sides to prevent him from being overwhelmed.
