यच्च पित्रानुशिष्टोडसि तद् वच: परिपालय । आनृशंस्ये दमे सत्ये चार्जवे च स्थिरो भव,यह भी कहना कि पिताने जो तुम्हें उपदेश दिया है, उसका पालन करो। दया, दम, सत्य और सरलता आदि सदगुणोंमें स्थिर रहो
yac ca pitṛ-anuśiṣṭo 'si tad vacaḥ paripālaya | ānṛśaṃsye dame satye cārjave ca sthiro bhava ||
पिता से जो उपदेश तुम्हें मिला है, उस वचन का पालन करो। दया-अनृशंस्य, दम (संयम), सत्य और आर्जव (सरलता) में दृढ़ रहो।
