तमापततन्तं सम्प्रेक्ष्य पाण्डवानां महारथा: । अभ्यवर्तन्त वेगेन भीमसेनपुरोगमा:,उस हाथीको आते देख भीमसेन आदि पाण्डव महारथी शीघ्रतापूर्वक उसके चारों ओर खड़े हो गये
tam āpatatantaṃ samprekṣya pāṇḍavānāṃ mahārathāḥ | abhyavartanta vegena bhīmasena-purogamāḥ ||
उस हाथी को अपनी ओर आते देख पाण्डवों के महारथी—भीमसेन के नेतृत्व में—वेगपूर्वक आगे बढ़े और उसे चारों ओर से घेरकर डट गये।
