भीष्मरक्षण-उद्योगः, शिखण्डि-विवर्जनं, सर्वतोभद्र-व्यूहः

प्रगृह्य विपुलं चाप॑ं ज्ञातिभि: परिवारित: । शूलमुद्गरहस्तैश्न नानाप्रहरणैरपि
pragṛhya vipulaṃ cāpaṃ jñātibhiḥ parivāritaḥ | śūlamudgarahastaiś ca nānāpraharaṇair api ||
संजय बोले—उसके जाति-बन्धु शूल, मुद्गर आदि नाना प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्र हाथों में लिये उसे चारों ओर से घेरे हुए थे; और वह स्वयं एक विशाल धनुष धारण किये खड़ा था।
