भीष्मस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति उपालम्भः

गजानीकं च सम्प्रेक्ष् मेघवृन्दमिवोदितम्
gajānikaṃ ca samprekṣya meghavṛndam ivoditam
संजय बोले—हाथियों की सेना को देखकर वह नवसंचित मेघ-समूह के समान उठ खड़ी हुई; रणभूमि में यह शक्ति और गर्व का घना, अशुभ-सा उभार था, जहाँ धर्म की परीक्षा होने वाली थी।
