इरावानपि संक्रुद्धस्त्वरमाण: पराक्रमी । हन्तुकामममित्रघ्नो राक्षसं प्रत्यवारयत्
sañjaya uvāca | irāvān api saṅkruddhas tvaramāṇaḥ parākrāmī | hantukāmam amitraghno rākṣasaṃ pratyavārayat ||
शत्रुनाशक पराक्रमी इरावान् भी क्रोध से भर उठा; उसे मारने की इच्छा रखनेवाले उस राक्षस को उसने उतावली से रोककर सामना किया।
