Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Sañjaya-saṃvādaḥ; madhyāhna-saṅgrāma-pravṛttiḥ
Dhritarashtra–Sanjaya dialogue and the midday battle escalation

The verse highlights kṣatriya steadfastness: even when wounded, a warrior is expected to remain composed and continue his duty in battle without losing courage or self-control.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛtavarmā, though badly hurt by incoming arrows, does not falter; instead he retaliates by striking Bhīma again with sharp arrows.
