भीष्मवधाय प्रयाणम् — The Advance toward Bhīṣma and Counter-Engagements
संस्मृत्य मन्त्रितं पूर्व निग्रहे भीमकर्मण: । निश्चयं परमं कृत्वा निग्रहीतुं प्रचक्रमु:
saṁsmṛtya mantritaṁ pūrvaṁ nigrahe bhīmakarmaṇaḥ | niścayaṁ paramaṁ kṛtvā nigrahītuṁ pracakramuḥ ||
संजय बोले—भयंकर कर्म करने वाले भीम के निग्रह के विषय में जो पूर्व में परामर्श हुआ था, उसे स्मरण करके उन्होंने परम दृढ़ निश्चय किया और उसे पकड़ने-रोकने का प्रयत्न आरम्भ कर दिया।
