भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
तेनावध्या रणे पार्था जययुक्ताश्च पार्थिव । तव पुत्रा दुरात्मान: पापेष्वभिरता: सदा
tenāvadhyā raṇe pārthā jayayuktāś ca pārthiva | tava putrā durātmānaḥ pāpeṣv abhiratāḥ sadā ||
संजय बोले— इसलिए, हे राजन्, रण में पृथापुत्र पाण्डव अवध्य हैं और सदा विजय के साथ जुड़े रहते हैं; परन्तु आपके पुत्र दुरात्मा हैं, जो निरन्तर पाप में ही रत रहते हैं।
