The Tumult of Battle Described
योधास्त्वदीया: शरवर्षैरवर्षन् मेघा यथा भूधरमम्बुवेगै: । तथापि त॑ धारयितुं न शेकु- मध्यन्दिने सूर्यमिवातपन्तम्
yodhās tvadīyāḥ śaravarṣair avarṣan meghā yathā bhūdharam ambuvegaiḥ | tathāpi taṃ dhārayituṃ na śekuḥ madhyandine sūryam ivātapantam ||
संजय बोले—आपके योद्धाओं ने उस पर बाणों की ऐसी वर्षा की, जैसे मेघ पर्वत पर वेग से जलधाराएँ बरसाते हैं। तथापि वे उसे रोक न सके; वह रणमध्य में मध्याह्न के तपते सूर्य की भाँति दहकता हुआ, अविचल विचर रहा था।
