द्रोणस्तु निशितैर्बाणैर्धष्टद्युम्ममविध्यत । सारथिं चास्य भल्लेन रथनीडादपातयत्‌

Transliteration

droṇas tu niśitair bāṇair dhṛṣṭadyumnam avidhyat | sārathiṃ cāsya bhallena rathanīḍād apātayat |

Translation

संजय बोले— तब द्रोणाचार्य ने तीक्ष्ण बाणों से धृष्टद्युम्न को घायल किया; और भल्ल नामक बाण से उसके सारथी को मारकर रथ की बैठक से नीचे गिरा दिया।
